At St James, we want to use our facilities to serve our community.
Funerals
A funeral is an occasion to mourn a person’s death, to show sympathy with the bereaved, and to be reminded of the Bible’s teaching about our own death and judgement and the Christian hope of resurrection. A funeral service is sometimes held at a crematorium or graveside, sometimes in a church, and sometimes at the premises of the funeral director. St James and its ministers conduct funerals according to the services authorised by the Anglican Church of Australia.
St James church hall can accommodate up to 200 people standing or 120 seated, and is available for hire for a range of functions, subject to availability and some conditions. We do not take Sunday bookings.
