St James will be holding the Confirmation Service on Sunday 26th September 2010 at 7:00pm. Please join with us as members of our congregation make this statement of their commitment to Christ.

There will be a dessert and coffee evening on Saturday the 18th  from 7-9pm to farewell the Patches. Please bring a plate for supper.

On September 4, St James men across the services are car-pooling to the Kings School, Parramatta, for a one-day conference: “Men Meeting the Challenge”. Keynote speakers are Peter Adam and Bishop Ivan Lee. Book your ticket at http://www.menforchrist.asn.au/pages/nextevent.php  and meet up in the St James car park at 8am.

Conference runs Saturday and Sunday, and you can register online. Speakers include David Cook (Principal of SMBC) and Femi Adeleye (from Ghana). Held at KCC centre in Katoomba.

Regular seniors outing departs by bus from the church grounds just after 1pm.

On May 19, Stephen Lungu, terrorist-turned-evangelist, will be speaking at St James and sharing his story. Stephen is an international speaker, but is based in Malawi as team leader of African Enterprise, an organisation devoted to evangelism, welfare, and development across Africa.
