The St James Annual General Meeting will be held in the church from 7:30pm on March 22. The annual report will be presented, along with presentations of church finances and the election of parish council and wardens. All regular members of St James are encouraged to attend.

Christianity Explained is an introduction or refresher course for putting the pieces of the Christian faith together. The course runs Monday nights from 7:45 to 9:30pm in the “Wynola” building at St James (2 Highbury St, Croydon).

Sunday 1st January 2012 is Barry and Jo’s last Sunday at St James. There will be combined services: Morning Service will be at 11am in the church followed by a pot luck lunch. Evening Service will be at 5pm in the hall followed by a pot luck dinner.

Don’t get caught out – check the time of the services you’re coming to: Christmas Eve – 6pm & 11pm Christmas Day – 9am New Year’s Day – 11am & 5pm (in the hall)

Beware: Men at Work! Men’s convention 2012 is on March 2-3, and the St James team will be heading up after work on the Friday and back for dinner on the Saturday. Book your early-bird tickets at the MKC website ($70), and RSVP to Jon for Friday night accommodation ($30).
