The final question in ourĀ series is, why are Christians so intolerant of other beliefs?
If asked in response to unloving reactions of Christians to other beliefs/lifestyles/cultures, then we may need to clean-house and apologize.
But if asked with the assumption that to disagree or to contradict is to be intolerant, we may want to challenge the underlying post-modern worldview. The biblical worldview has a more powerful explanation both of the problem (that sin has obscured truth) and the solution (Jesus has come to reveal the truth absolutely).
And it should be apparent that if we really believe that, then “we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:5-31). |
