Questions

In this post-Easter series, we look at the questions your friends are asking you, as voted by you.

Two of the questions we deal with are suffering and science: the old-school objections to Christianity. But ethics is the new apologetics, so it is not surprising that the other two questions are hot topics of social morality: same-sex marriage and (in)tolerance.

But in both cases there are earnest objections that we must listen to carefully and humbly, and respond to boldly and faithfully.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behaviour in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

1 Pet 3:15-16
